About Aaron Harman, M.D.

Aaron Harman, M.D., a board-certified diagnostic and interventional radiologist, believes patients deserve personalized medicine that delivers the best outcomes with the fewest number of side-effects. Highly skilled in a variety of minimally invasive techniques, he has performed hundreds of tumor ablations at world-renowned institutions. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Harman and his family relocated to beautiful Houston, Texas to join the best-in-class Prostate Laser Center team and treat patients with precision therapeutics.

An outstanding graduate of the vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at the prestigious Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Dr. Harman spent his early years at the University of Massachusetts (UMass) Medical School where he rapidly rose to the leadership position of Program Director of the Interventional Radiology residency. He also served as president of the New England Society of Interventional Radiology (NESIR) and currently sits on its board of directors.

During his fellowship, Dr. Harman won a Society of Interventional Oncology (SIO) scholarship. During his time at Brown, Brigham, and UMass, he performed numerous microwave ablations and cryoablations of tumors in the lung, liver, kidneys, and soft tissues, as well as embolization of tumors in the liver and kidneys.

At the Prostate Laser Center, Dr. Harman leads the clinical team responsible for MRI-guided focal laser ablation of prostate cancer and benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH). In addition, he contributes to an innovative liver study involving liver biopsies.

"

Patients choose the Prostate Laser Center because they want personalized care instead of cookie-cutter medicine. Here, we’re proud to say we save lives with precision therapies.”
